Symptom, also known as Polygraph Symptom, is not only the founder and CEO of 210west Entertainment, he is also a rapper, producer, engineer, videographer, DJ, radio personality, and actor. At a young age (fifth grade) he recorded a song: “it was on a home stereo with regular janky headphones.” Even though the equipment was minimal, it was just enough to spark interest in what would later become a career. As a teenager in the late 1990s, Symptom started competing in freestyle battles and began to take recording seriously. Shortly after playing college basketball, he started performing in local, legendary venues like the House of Blues.

He later became frustrated paying for studio time and beats. That frustration led Symptom to invest in his own equipment. He began to teach himself to produce and engineer and now produces for himself as well as for many others.
